If you’re heading to Mas Tacos or planning to catch a game, concert, or show at Madison Square Garden, you’re probably coming through Penn Station — one of NYC’s busiest transit hubs.

Here’s exactly how to get to Penn Station NYC, no matter where you’re coming from.
🚇 By Subway
Take any of the following trains, all of which stop directly at or near Penn Station:
1, 2, 3 trains – Underground level, 34th St–Penn Station
A, C, E trains – Access via 8th Avenue entrance
B, D, F, M, N, Q, R, W – Walkable from Herald Square (1–2 blocks)
Once inside, look for signs to LIRR, Amtrak, or Madison Square Garden — Mas Tacos is located near the LIRR level, inside the main station.
🚆 By Long Island Rail Road (LIRR)
Coming from Queens, Long Island, or JFK via Jamaica?
LIRR trains drop you directly into Penn Station. Once you exit the train, follow signs for the Amtrak rotunda or street level — Mas Tacos is inside, just minutes from the track exits.
🚄 By NJ Transit
Taking NJ Transit from New Jersey?
You'll arrive at lower level Penn Station, same as Amtrak and LIRR. Just head up one level and follow signs for the food court area — Mas Tacos is right there for breakfast, lunch, or pre-event meals.
🚉 By Amtrak
From Boston, Philly, DC, or beyond — Amtrak drops you directly inside Penn Station. Follow signs to the main concourse or use the 8th Avenue exit to access the Mas Tacos level.
🚌 By Bus (Port Authority)
If you're coming from Port Authority Bus Terminal:
Take the A, C, or E subway one stop downtown to 34th St–Penn Station
Or walk 2 avenues east to 8th Avenue and 2 blocks south to 32nd St
🏟️ Coming for MSG?
Madison Square Garden is directly above Penn Station.
That means Mas Tacos is your go-to spot for food and drinks before the show or game — no extra travel needed.
